Lost Post

Just as my rant was coming to an end I got the message that my post might not publish cause I wasn't connecting with Blogger. Story of my life, big surprise, I'm not connecting with anything. But it doesn't matter. My post was pointless anyways, maybe better it was deleted or rejected or screwed up in some way. Pointless rant, pointless attitude, pointless life.

Pointless

Everything I write has a defensive or sarcastic sound. It was going well yet now it bores me. Why is it I can only want what I can't have. Pointless.

Writing pointless comments, pointless articles, receiving pointless compliments from people who are as full of baloney as I am to them. Pointless. What do I want, will I ever get it and would I still want it if I did. Are we all victims of our earliest experiences and that determines either our enjoyment of whatever we can have or pointlessly longing for what we can't.

Of course compliments are great but it was money I wanted. Not like twenty-five cents an hour from stingy little schmucks who want brilliance (and punctuation too) for what is equal to one tiny level above NOTHING.

Yada Yada Yada. Tonight I bore myself. Tomorrow I go to the movie about the mother who lost her son and the authorities get him back. But aha! They try to pass off another child as her son and it sounds intriguing. Will it seem pointless after I've seen it. God I hope not.

The "Dreamgirl's" nightmare gets worse

Everyone was hopefully waiting to hear good news that the child Julian (only 7 years old) was found alive and safe. At this moment the news announcement at a press conference in Chicago states that a white SUV was found minutes ago with the body of a male child dead inside.

All the emotional pain in the world is magnified when the victim is a child. Seven, the age of eagerly awaiting "trick or treating" and the joy and excitement of Christmas. His candle extinguished before it could burn down even one-tenth of the way.

Sympathy from around the world will come to Jennifer Hudson on the loss of her mother and brother. Heartfelt sympathy to her and her sister on their loss. To her sister, who fervently pleaded for her son's life - what can comfort her in the slightest way...
Doing my morning surf I came across this. Saw the video (Sexy Sumo) on another blog and it's hilarious/somewhat disgusting. A direct quote:

"Shockvertising - Fake Murder, Sexy Sumo, Angelina Jolie and Halloween (VIDEO)

* Trend Hunter

Made Popular: 3 hours ago - Fake lesbians, murder advertising, sexy sumo wrestlers, naughty surrealism and punching employees. Shockvertising is not a new tool, but the viral nature of the blogosphere is making ‘shock’ more popular than ever before."

From the movie screen to the television screen and all media environs - sex, violence and murder exported to invade minds, gentle and dysfunctional alike. The circle of cause and effect can no longer be clearly defined.

It seems though, that a loved and well-adjusted individual may ride the waves of violence as spectator while the insecure may embrace it and reach out to tip the lifeboat of anyone who crosses their path.
