Today would have been Elvis's 74th birthday. He missed out on the long life. His fans missed out on many more great songs, cd's, performances in person and on tv's.
Elvis we still miss you since you left at 42,
Senior fans who loved you then alongside those you never knew,
Lighting each a candle to memorialize your birth,
Walking up the path to Graceland where you spent your time on earth.
Coming generations will all enjoy your voice,
They'll learn it from their mommas and follow it by choice,
Watch pictures on the tv with girl's screaming from their seats,
Magic music reigns forevermore, sweet Elvis rest in peace.
NOTE: You can only understand after seeing a pic of him at age 21. He was hot.
